These pages hopefully will give you some insight into a disease that effects more people than most realize! I suffer from it as do several dear friends and many others not only in the US but all over the world.  It's Called Lupus...or SLE and we are known as Lupies :-) Sometimes it even makes us Loopy lol.

Usually it is not a disease that is all by itself..it has company most of the time! Some of these visitors are of the permanent kind and some come and go as they darn well please! I hope that it may help you understand a friend, a family member or even yourself with what is going on with Lupies! Some are info areas and some are humor areas and some just because areas. No matter which one remember I am no expert and you always need to consult a GOOD DR who specializes in immune diseases such as a Rheumatoidologist! Find a good support group whether it is a local one or an online one! Nobody will understand it better than others who suffer with it as well! Lupus used to be a death sentence but with modern advances while it has no cure it is treatable and many live with it for many many years!
